At Tarporley CE Primary School, our Christian vision is at the heart of everything we do. We seek to provide an education that enables every child to flourish and experience life in all its fullness, developing spiritually, morally, socially, emotionally, intellectually and physically.

We want every child to develop a love of learning, discover their strengths and talents, develop their character, confidence and be equipped with the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to make a positive contribution to their community and the wider world.

Our BOOKS Approach

Our BOOKS approach provides a distinctive expression of our Christian vision and encourages both children and adults to:

• deepen their Spirituality.

Through BOOKS, we encourage everyone to grow in confidence, wisdom and character, to care for others and the world around them, and to make the most of the opportunities that education provides.

Our approach reflects the Church of England's vision for education: Deeply Christian, Serving the Common Good, with a commitment to education that develops wisdom, hope, community and dignity and enables children and young people to flourish.

We believe that excellent education encompasses both academic achievement and the wider development of the whole person. We aim to provide a broad and balanced curriculum which challenges, inspires and develops the potential of every child.

We value strong partnerships between home, school, church and the wider community, recognising that children flourish when we work together.

Our Christian vision is lived out through our curriculum, collective worship, relationships, pastoral care, behaviour, wider opportunities and our daily interactions with one another.

We want our children to leave Tarporley as confident, compassionate and curious young people who have developed a love of learning, understand their responsibilities to others and are ready to contribute positively to the communities in which they live.
