We are proud of our supportive and committed team and are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our EYFS team.
We are looking for someone who is caring, creative and passionate about helping young children develop, learn and thrive. You will be joining a friendly team who work collaboratively to provide children with the very best start to their education.
About the role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team to support children's learning, development and wellbeing.
The successful candidate will:
• Support the teacher in delivering engaging and purposeful learning activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support, including for children with additional needs.
• Support children's development, confidence and independence.
• Encourage positive behaviour and help children develop strong social and emotional skills.
• Support children with classroom routines, transitions and personal care where required.
• Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where children feel valued and able to flourish.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other members of the school team.
• Adapt support to meet the individual needs of children.
• Contribute creative ideas and activities that enhance children's learning and experiences.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and always promote children's welfare.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience working with children, ideally within an EYFS, nursery or primary school setting.
• Is caring, patient and nurturing.
• Has experience supporting children with a range of needs and behaviours.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can work effectively as part of a team.
• Is creative and enthusiastic about supporting children's learning through play and practical activities.
• Is able to build positive relationships with children and encourage their confidence and independence.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Has a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.

Working hours
28 hours per week
Monday–Friday, 8.45am–3.20pm
Term time only – 38 weeks per year
Salary: Grade 4 – £13.48 – £13.91 per hour
The salary will be paid pro rata to reflect term-time working.
