Educational Visits & Residentials
School visits are an essential part of our BOOKS approach to our curriculum.
They provide opportunities for children to 'Let their Light Shine' and experience, first hand, many topics studied in the classroom. All visits are carefully planned and organised by teachers and range from short local visits, which make use of the immediate environment, to more extended journeys. Teachers carry out detailed Risk Assessments before all visits. We offer a residential visit to every pupil in years 3 to 6 and feel they are an important part of a child's learning and everyone is strongly encouraged to attend as we always learn so much and have great fun at the same time!
