Dear Parents and Carers,We are delighted to tell you that we have booked a trip for children in KS1 to visit Warrington Museum and Art Gallery on Monday 31st March.The visit will include:· Woodland animals sketching workshop· Time to explore the gallery and fascinating exhibits, from beautiful works of art, cabinets of curiosity, an Ancient Egyptian mummy and even a dinosaur!· Art gallery tour and workshop focusing on “Sleeping Beauty” painting and Donbavand Warrington townscape.· World cultures workshop exploring patterns and motifsWe are really excited about our upcoming trip and believe this will enhance our art curriculum and give children the opportunity to explore an art gallery first hand, and hopefully inspire the next generation of artists!Children will need to come to school for normal time and wear their school uniform for the trip. Children will need to bring a clearly labelled packed lunch and drink. If you would like to order a school packed lunch, please order via ParentPay and let the office know the choice of sandwich filling.The PTA have kindly agreed to pay the cost of the coach for the visit. We are asking for a voluntary contribution of £4 per child to cover the cost of admission charge. This should be paid via the electronic payment system by Monday 17th March, permission for this trip is also given via this method. Should we not receive sufficient contributions, we reserve the right to cancel the trip at short notice.
