Year 5 Cohort - Alderford Lake Residential
We are excited to confirm that our residential to Alderford Lake, in conjunction with getoutsidetheclassroom (https://getoutsidetheclassroom.co.uk/about-gotc) will take place on Monday 17thJune to Tuesday 18th June 2024. Activities during their stay will include: archery, rock climbing, paddle sports, bushcraft activities and preparing their evening meals. They will also experience sleeping under the stars in bell tents for the night.
The cost of the trip is £100. If you would like your child to take part in this exciting residential, please pay the deposit of £20 by 23rd February. This is available on now on ParentPay. The remaining balance of £80 can be paid over three instalments, due 22nd March, 19th April and 17thMay. These can be made in instalments over the coming weeks or as a single payment. Pupils in receipt of Pupil Premium will receive a reduction in the cost.
Please be aware that we will be hosting an information evening after half term – date to be confirmed. We will let you know shortly when this will be.
This will give you and your child the opportunity to find out about some of the activities planned as well as giving you the opportunity to discuss any other queries which relate to the residential. Following this information evening, we will send out further information such as kit list etc.
