RSE Consultation
From September 2021, it is a statutory requirement that all schools in England and Wales are teaching Relationship and Sex Education as a fundamental part of the curriculum.
As part of implementing the RSE curriculum, schools have been asked to consult with the children, parents, staff and governors to ensure there is a general consensus on our approaches to policy and the curriculum content.
We will be starting our consultation process on 21st May 2021 and the consultation will close on 25th June 2021.
As part of this, parents, staff and governors, are invited to read through our draft RSE policy and information about our ‘No Outsiders’ approach to relationships education and the equality act.
We would then like to invite you to:
• Complete the questionnaire that you receive via school spider in order for your feedback to be captured
• Join a focus group through parent forum
Our parent forum group on 16th June 2021 at 6.30 will form our focus group. If you’d like to participate, please email admin@tarporleyce.cheshire.sch.uk or call the school office on 01829708188 before 9th June2021
Our parent forum focus group meeting should take no more than 1 hour.
