Playground Development
Start: 15th Oct 2014 9:30am
Pentagon Sports will be starting on Phase 2 of our playground development on Monday 6th October.
They will be installing a range of new playground equipment chosen by the School Council and funded by a lottery grant of £10k and an additional £5k from our wonderful PTA.
Over the next week we will see the following installed:
- Log Labyrinth
- Climbing Wall
- Wigwam
- 4 way ball shoot
- New Netball court markings
- A range of other playground markings
We are looking forward to seeing how it all develops.
Here are some photographs of some of the equipment taken from Pentagon Sports website:

Day 1 Update
Despite this mornings torrential rain work began on our new playground development. The children were very excited to see all of the new equipment going in.
At the end of Day 1 all of the new playground equipment has been fitted and now just needs time to set before pupils can begin using it on next week. However the Wigwam is ready to be used and has been tested by Miss Nicholas, Miss Neill and Miss Davies.
UPDATE 11/10/14
We are hoping to have our playground markings over the next week and we are just waiting for the flooring for the Log Labyrinth to be put down before we can start using all of our new equipment. The children have been having great fun using the wigwam and the four way ball shoot. We will keep you posted on new developments.
UPDATE 15/10/14
Our Log Labyrinth and Climbing Wall have now had new a new wet pour surface installed underneath them to allow all year use. Each class will be given a training session on the new equipemnt over the next two days to ensure safe use. They are looking great.
