Fundraising for Little Hearts Matter
On the 1st of August my husband Mark Forrester will be setting out on an epic cycling adventure from John O'Groats to Lands End for the charity ‘Little Hearts Matter’
Knowing the charity is relying on him to finish might just be the spur he needs on a particularly hard day in the saddle.

Little Hearts Matter - We offer support and information to anyone affected by half a working heart.
Story
Eleven years ago I met a little newborn called Jake, born with a rare heart condition (single ventricle heart condition)it was a miracle I had the chance to meet him at all.
After many operations Jake now lives a relatively normal life although not without challenges. However it doesn't end there, currently there is no long term fix for Jakes condition, so Jake and others like him are living in hope further treatments are developed in the future. Their lives really do depend on it.
Little Hearts Matter is a small charity who do great work for children like Jake and their families. They are dedicated to supporting families in every step of their journey with single ventricle heart condition.

On the 1st of August I will be setting out on an epic cycling adventure from the UK mainland's most northerly point John O'Groats and traversing my way down to the most southerly point Lands End. Roughly a 950 mile journey.
Solo and unsupported I will carry all I need on the bike and only stop to eat and sleep! No hotels, no support van, no one to cuddle up to at night! Well if you're going to do it you might as well go big!!
One way or another I hope to document my journey and there may possibly be some live updates and tracking but I'll confirm this closer to the time.
