Our Reception children participated in Earth Day where we learnt how important it is to recycle, plant trees and save electricity and water. We set to work and made a pledge about how we could invest in the Earth and make a positive impact on the future of the planet.
- Turn the lights off when the room is not in use.
- Recycle! (We looked at what each colour bin was used for)
- Planting trees and flowers
- Walk to school more
- Bring resuable shopping bags to the shops.
- Turn the tap off when we brush our teeth
- Picking up litter that we see and putting it in the bin
- Filling up resusable bottles to reduce the plastic in school
We believe by doing these things daily we are doing our part to help protect our planet and celebrate the beautiful world God has made. We promise to the keep the Earth clean and green everyday.
